The Pasifika Medical Association is a network of more than 3,000 Pacific health professionals, working collaboratively to strengthen the Pacific health workforce capacity and capability and meet the health needs of our Pacific people in New Zealand and the region.

Our members include specialist level doctors, student doctors, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, social workers, community health workers and our vast non-clinical workforce. Membership is representative of the diversity of the Pacific region with members coming from the Cook Islands, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Tahiti, New Caledonia, Tokelau, Nauru, Palau, the Federal States of Micronesia and other Pacific countries.

Our PMA membership team work closely with the board and our various strategic partners such as the Universities to roll out an active membership programme packed with engaging and innovative events and activities to cater for the needs of our members – both online and in-person.
